What restroom works for an outdoor wedding?
Most outdoor weddings of up to about 250 guests use one two-station restroom trailer, rated for about 900 uses. Weddings of 250 to 300 guests use a three-station trailer. If the venue has no power or level ground, plan 3 flushing units and 1 wheelchair-accessible unit for 150 guests over 6 hours with a bar.
| Guests (6-hour reception with bar) | Trailer option | Porta potty option |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 50 | One two-station trailer | 2 flushing + 1 wheelchair-accessible |
| 51–250 | One two-station trailer | 3 flushing + 1 wheelchair-accessible |
| 251–300 | One three-station trailer | 8 flushing + 1 wheelchair-accessible + 1 hand wash |
| 301–500 | One three-station trailer + 3 flushing units | 8 flushing + 1 wheelchair-accessible + 1 hand wash |
Where should the wedding restroom go?
Put the wedding restroom 75 to 150 feet from the tent or dance floor, on level ground near a 20-amp outlet, on a path guests can walk in dress shoes. Keep it downwind of dinner and light the path after dark. Our truck needs a clear drive to back the trailer into place.
Guests in wheelchairs need an accessible unit on a firm path; our ADA guide for event toilets explains the 5% rule.
Ranch and barn weddings around Killeen, Belton and Salado often sit at the end of long gravel drives. Tell us about cattle guards, gates and low limbs so we can bring the right truck. See our Salado and Belton pages.
When should you book wedding restrooms?
Book a wedding restroom trailer 2 to 3 months ahead for spring and fall Saturdays in Central Texas, when outdoor weddings peak. Flushing porta potties usually need 2 to 4 weeks. We set up the day before and pick up the next business day, so cleanup is never on your wedding night.
- 3 months out: choose a trailer or flushing units and hold the date.
- 1 month out: confirm the guest count and power with your venue.
- 1 week out: confirm placement, gate codes and the delivery window.
- Wedding day: soap, towels and paper are stocked.
- Next business day: we pick up.

Wedding Restrooms: common questions
Do wedding trailers have air conditioning?
Most do, which matters in a Texas summer. The trailer needs its own 20-amp circuit.
Can guests in wheelchairs use the trailer?
Standard trailers have steps. Add a wheelchair-accessible unit or book an accessible trailer.
What if the venue has no power?
We can arrange a generator, or you can choose flushing units, which need no power.
Will the trailer be stocked?
Yes. Soap, towels, toilet paper and air freshener come stocked.
