What is a restroom trailer?
A restroom trailer is a towed restroom with separate stalls, porcelain toilets, sinks with running water, lighting and air conditioning. Our two-station reference model, the Satellite Suites 6×10, carries 105 gallons of fresh water and 275 gallons of waste, good for about 900 uses. It needs a 20-amp outlet and level ground.

Two-station or three-station trailer?
A two-station restroom trailer handles about 900 uses between services, enough for a wedding of up to about 250 guests. A three-station trailer handles about 1,400 uses for 250 to 300 guests. Both need level ground, truck access and power, and the three-station model is 19 feet long with its hitch.

What does a trailer need at the site?
A restroom trailer needs a level spot about 20 by 12 feet, a clear drive so our truck can back it in, and a dedicated 20-amp, 110-volt outlet within 50 feet. Without an outlet, a 3,000–7,000 watt generator works. A garden hose is optional, since the trailer carries its own water.
Power guidance is from Satellite Industries. In Central Texas summer heat, the air conditioner runs nonstop, so do not share the circuit with a DJ or a food warmer. Hill Country lots west of Killeen are often sloped; we level the trailer with blocks.
Trailers for shelters and long projects
Restroom trailers also serve emergency shelters, office remodels and long film shoots. For a shelter, Texas mass-gathering rules in 25 TAC §265.3 allow no more than 50 people per toilet seat. Long rentals are pumped and restocked on a set schedule, often twice a week.

Yes, if it is level and firm and the truck can reach it. Soaked ground after a storm can delay setup.
